ABOUT CABAÑAS POCOSOL
We invite you to discover the natural charm of a simple lifestyle, only 2 hours away from San José , and ½ an hour away from La Fortuna. Stay in our cozy cottages, located on the boundary of the Children's Eternal Forest , (behind Monteverde) and enjoy a true peaceful atmosphere. Indulge yourself contemplating the Northern Lowlands ' immensity, listening to the song of different types of birds or just relax as you watch hawks glide through the skies. Walk through off-the-beaten-track paths that lead to abandoned towns, trek in the nearby mountains, sleep listening to nature's lullaby, or simply do nothing. Our 12 hectare / 29.63 acre farm is located on a hilltop, where five cabins have been built, all with an equipped kitchen and hot water.

We offer you different activities to do within the property, such as the following workshops: * Trails in the tropical forest * Horseback rides surrounded by amazing landscapes * Organic Agriculture * Plants with healing properties * Art Crafts * Vegetarian Cooking * Yoga * Massage * Reforestation If you wish to participate in one or several of these activities, please indicate it along with your reservation
OUR CABINS
Our property features 4 rustic cottages, all with an excellent view and the best conditions for our guests to experience comfort surrounded by wild nature. 3 of our cabins can lodge up to 3 people, and consist of: 1 spacious room with a queen-size bed
- A small living room with a sofa-bed (for the 3 rd person)
- Equipped kitchen with gas stove and refrigerator
- Bathroom with hot shower
- Breakfast counter with stools
- Front porch with chairs to enjoy the natural surroundings and relax
Our cabin can lodge up to 4-5 people, and consists of:
- 1 room with a queen-size bed
- 1 room with two single beds
- Living room with a sofa-bed (for the 5 th person)
- Equipped kitchen with gas stove and refrigerator
- Bathroom with hot shower
- Breakfast counter with tools
- Front and back porches with chairs
One cabin can lodge up to 8 people, and consists of:
- 2 rooms with four single beds
- Equipped kitchen with gas stove and refrigerator
- Bathroom with hot shower
- Tables and chairs for eigth people
- Front and back porches
